VTG LEATHER WRAPPED GLASS HIP FLASK LIQUOR BOTTLE Military ? Engraved alcohol

For your consideration is a vintage wrapped glass liquor flask, wrapped with what appears to be leather (?) cord. Might be some other material but it does appear that it might be leather. It’s approximately 5 3/4 inches in length. The cap is engraved with small, hard to read, letters as shown in the photos. This flask obviously has some age to it. Age and origin is unknown. That all being said, it’s a cool old quality item in very good shape. Thank you for your interest.
