Vintage Bottle Owens Illinois Glass Logo Art Deco 3" Emerald Green 1929-1950's Metal Tin Screw Cap Lid (1923 company added screw threads to bottle for metal screw caps).
RARE could not find a duplicate.
Trademark logo on bottom base / heel (punt marks). Logo: diamond & oval shapes superimposed [entwined]. Also, see a number 10: indicates manufactured 1930-1938 Newark, OH.
The Owens-Illinois Glass Co. began with the merger of two of the industry giants: the Illinois Glass Co. and the Owens Glass Co. The Illinois Glass Co. was incorporated in March 1873.
Use: either cooking extract, ink, or medicinal, chemical druggist apothecary pharmacy.
