German Schafer & Vater Antique Flask
Colorful hunter wearing traditional garb holding a shotgun & bottle depicted in relief to front of flask with a semi-gloss glaze
Brown glazed wood pattern porcelain flask with handle ~ wood knots are unglazed
Porcelain & cork stopper top
Stands about 6 1/4" measured to tip of stopper, oval base is about 2 3/4" x 1 5/8"

Crown & round seal mark of Volkstedt-Schutz factory ~ embossed
4 characters I cannot make out embossed near edge
Dates from 1896 to late 1920s, found online:
Schafer & Vater originated in 1896, most proficient production between 1905-1920, production end late 1920s
CONDITION
Excellent antique condition, colors are bright with glossy glaze
No chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing
Base is unglazed & shows shading from shelving
Stopper has original cork ~ the cork is a bit wobbly & off-kilter, I didn't want to try to force it to not cause damage, nor did I try to clean the cork
